Whether you're an entrepreneur or just an independent contractor, you're a salesperson. So when somebody says, "I'm not a salesperson, I'm an entrepreneur," they don't really understand the meaning of entrepreneur. Every entrepreneur is a salesperson. So today I want you to look at this from the perspective of asking yourself where in the selling process you mess up.
In this video I get into the following six parts of the sales process.
#1: Prospecting – 1:56
#2: Approach and Contact – 6:40
#3: Presentation – 8:53
#4: Follow Up – 11:36
#5: Referrals — 15:05
#6: Maintain Customer Relationships – 17:26

Thank you for the love. What inspired my letter was passion. The passion that Patrick has is second to none.
I am an entrepreneur and a cigar aficionado, so just a heads up; I am stealing this idea. Thank you my friend.
Awesome letter awesome vid!
Hi John, from one attorney to another, you are certainly a class act. 🍷

God bless you Pat! l love this video so much i will share it in my facebook and make people subscribe. much love from the Philippines. 🇵🇭
Thank you so much for sharing such valuable information on entrepreneurship. I always did sales because it comes naturally to me but I have to say I need to keep grinding. You have great skill and I want to be just like you. Thank you Patrick!
Great video as always Pat! Im lousy at prospecting i admit, its my weakness on sales process, can u make a detailed video on prospecting and approach and contact?, i cannot think of any person to explain this better than you Pat, i’ve been learning a lot since i subscribed in your channel, also recommended your channel to my friends and they’ve been really grateful about it. You’ve got huge fans here in in Abu Dhabi!
Thanks Patrick! I actually had put more time for prospecting in an earlier routine, but reduced it, not realizing its level of importance. Will get back into it then. You’re an awesome guide.
I’m struggling trying to find the balance of DOING the job AND running the BUSINESS. I am a healthcare provider, a business owner and a single mom! I’m so thankful for the videos to help me identify my weaknesses and also streamline things, but I am still trying to figure it all out!
Hey sir, I wanted to tell you that I had my first sale a few days ago. I sold handmade cards. I had covered the cost and my profit was 1500 rupees while the cost was 3500. I would like to tell you that you videos are really helpful in understand business strategies better. Thanks a lot.
This is a master piece. How can Patrick give SO MUCH in less than half an hour? No wonder he is so successful. Best channel ever
Exactly
“I want to help everyone becoming an entrepreneur”
“You, You matter to me”
What a lovely statement from Pat !!
Presidential candidate who founded Venture for America, Andrew Yang, feels the same way as Patrick. Venture for America is to help people become entrepreneurs. He has the same opinion as Pat on Entrepreneurship. I’m not sure how long ago he founded it but I thought it was an interesting idea but I like that Pat makes public videos on it. I’m just saying this because I also really value that Patrick feels and thinks that way and it was similar to what Andrew was saying in videos I watched earlier of him.
there is the classic store
let’s call it 1.0
products almost never change
the owner chose the products
it is boring
now, there must be a new store
let’s call it 2.0
products always change
people choose the products there will be via an app
on the app, there is a huge catalog, people choose the products that will show up in the store
the store is constantly being supplied with the products people choose
Brilliant content, took notes and implemented them right away into my CRM. And towards the end, you mention your goal of reaching 100k subs. I am watching this in 2019, and the channel has 1.67 Million subs. It’s always inspiring to see dedication and execution. Thank you Patrick.
This is too valuable to be free!! I regret going to college just to be in debt, when I could’ve watched these videos 🙁
Discipline, passion for what you sell, asking questions during presentation. Winner for me for years. I have to say, Pat’s ability to power though 25+ minutes without pausing and hiccuping is amazing. Thanks for a great video!
2020, I’m still watching this !
I wanna to thank Patrick for all this Free contents, because I’m one those who can’t pay for a great mentor, but I got you and all your strategy to model !
I’m promise, I’m not gonna quit and I’ll meet you proudly one day .
Little did you know there was a pandemic about to emerge that would send the whole world upside down

My advice for people is to sell what you love doing-if you love what you do, it doesn’t sound like a script. I have a lot of experience with retail, sales and dealing with vendors from all my past jobs in life. Once I found what I love to do, selling wasn’t even difficult-products sell themselves and Pat is right about “who your people know” because the goal is to allow your satisfied customers to be your best networking foot-soldiers. Referrals are like passive income generators.
Appreciate the dentist shout out. As a dentist, the word sales is a bit of a swear word in our profession, but redefining my role as both a doctor and salesman has really been to the benefit of myself, employees and foremost my patients. Thanks for the great advice and influence. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it.
Thank you, exactly what I’ve been doing. This is second nature to me.
I give thanks to God because this process was self taught, I’ve been in sales for 10 years now, using this same process.
I also ensure that I do his will to show gratitude to him.
Just came across one of your videos and now I am inspired and addicted to the business videos. Thank you. Your passion for what you do in these video shows. Awesome content and presentation!

2023 Ceo slot for sure. incredible vid this! was scared of prospecting !
no more!
Patrick I gotta tell you, I’ve been watching your videos daily for the past week while applying for my first job. I’m going into sales, I’m making my way across the YouTube channel and watching every sales video you got, as well as others too. Don’t worry I’m making sure to like and share the videos that I like (all of them so far) and I gotta say this has become my #1 favorite YouTube channel. I’ve been recommending it to my friends and family. I’m an entrepreneur and the lessons you are giving out is as good if not better than the college lectures I used to sit through for hours. Please keep up the amazing work, I will work my hardest so that one day I will have the pleasure of saying I have done business with you.
Thank you so much. That’s the way I was used to doing business . It was totally successful.
In USA had to learn a new way and it was more challenging. Building relationships; follow ups, feedback, trust , patience are the building blocks to success. Awesome info . Thank you 🌺
