I have a better tip for you, it’s getting a contract with an HOA, you go around cleaning driveways for Housing Associations, anytime someone would get a fine for having oil on their driveway, charge less than the fine to clean it. Boom, now you have customers for life (or until they sell their house). Never search for customers, find the people who control whether those people get fines or not and leverage your sales that way.
@Seb hes an idiot. Lol yeah lemme clean gristle with water lol do you not know science.
Thata why regulation is in place.
Dont talk if you dont know the walk. Ill post if you don’t believe it. Dumbass
That is an excellent tip. It works. I do this with my pool service. I usually never have a customer turn me down; but if they are on the fence. I say, ok, let me show you how I can make this pool sparkle for you. It always closes the deal.
Sure you might get work this way, but it’s still shitty to do it. You as well as I know why. Because it takes advantage of your customer. How many of the people you pull this on actually call you to come clean again?
@the-Ed-boi ??? He’s not destroying their pool lolwut, their showing them what the entire pool could look like if they properly maintained it which most people don’t. They choose to call them back because they dislike or realize how dirty it looks. They can alternatively just Google and look on YouTube how to clean their pool
This guy is actually giving quality tips, he’s not a stupid influencer giving stupid worthless info. Keep up the good work, never change, don’t go to the dark side.
When I did a short stint selling paint jobs for houses, one of the techniques we used was similar to this. After the customer agreed to getting their house painted, they would sometimes try to suddenly be on the fence, so we say, “how about I bring some test patches and we can try that out?” They agree, and we put patches on the front of the house, that way, they have to pick a color, because now it’s visible to everyone.
This is actually pretty scummy. “Now you have to pay me because your house is painted different colors.” At least this guy is actually doing a good deed for free and not backing you into a corner.
I imagine someone pretending to be on the fence with several cleaning companies and getting test cleans until all the noticeable spots are cleaned for free lol
I got suckered by this one! Some dude at the mall cleaned one of my shoes to showcase his product. I just told him that was a great marketing technique and I would never buy this otherwise but fully knowing the scam, I am still gonna buy this from you if you do my other shoe.
A good salesman wouldn’t do this. A slimy one would. Intentionally making something look goofy so they have to use your services. Your like the guy at the mall who offers a free shoe cleaning, cleans half of one shoe. And then says buy the bottle of cleaner or your gonna look dumb. Greasy
My friend tried this on the pathway of the backyard garden of young married couple, he basically did the Adidas stripes and the husband convinced his wife to keep it then paid my guy for “adding a great design to complete my garden”. It worked really well for him I’d say
“It’s easy to live with something dirty when everything around it is dirty, but when some part of it is clean, it would be impossible.”
This man not just only tell you how to sell products, but also show you the way to better yourself.
I remember a sales guy did this to my dad. Dude cleaned one spot on my old mans boat to try and sell his cleaning product. My dad was super pissed because the rest of the boat was dirty and it didn’t match. Needless to say, he ran the sales guy off and made me clean the rest of the boat.
I hired a guy to clean my gutters and he did this same “technique” on my flagstones, even though I asked him not to.
Even though he did a good job with the gutters I was so mad I never hired him again. I was so mad every time I saw the stupid cleaned flagstone. They were evenly weathered before and he made them look stupid.
I also told others the story and not to hire this crook.
Freaking scammer, forcing people to take on their services by making a spot cleaned knowing it will make everything else look crap. People have tried to scam me like this before as well, smart but scummy to people who don’t actually want their services
When I was like ten, a carpet cleaning company came to the door and offered to clean one room for free, while I was cleaning the house, so I was like “excellent” and then they said the living room counts as two rooms, so they stopped in the middle which is a high traffic area, they made the carpet look terrible so that homeowners would be forced to pay them to fix it. and I was like “this is completely unacceptable” and started crying. And so they finished the spot. But I still don’t trust any door to door service. also I think I was abused, like why were we always coerced to meet our parents needs instead of the other way around?

I want a job like this
You’re a dumbass thank yoy casse point

@lwb256 why it’s Easy money?
Scummy. Never sits well will.me how people clearly try and convince others to part with their cash when they’re unsure. Lowlife.
Just stop pushing

Edit, he has gone to the dark side.
The garage door at my dad’s house has a pressure washer mark on it for about 20 years, they did that and he never bothered to pay them to do the rest.
Plot twist: his dad was actually blind 😎
@mack what do you know about being a sigma male lmfao
Stop saying it. It’s cringey
Bet he tells everyone he blew a load there and never wiped it. 😂

@Kevin That is a really interesting idea 💡
This is actually pretty scummy. “Now you have to pay me because your house is painted different colors.” At least this guy is actually doing a good deed for free and not backing you into a corner.
okay yeah, this one’s actually kinda fucked up lmaoo I paint houses too 🤣
Yeaaaa cleaning someone stuff for free and fucking someone’s house up to force a paint job are two completely different things. You sir are a scumbag.
@Walt that’s what I said lol
I imagine someone pretending to be on the fence with several cleaning companies and getting test cleans until all the noticeable spots are cleaned for free lol
@HoldUpStrong No. That is being smart.
I got suckered by this one! Some dude at the mall cleaned one of my shoes to showcase his product. I just told him that was a great marketing technique and I would never buy this otherwise but fully knowing the scam, I am still gonna buy this from you if you do my other shoe.
When he said “blowing the symmetry” I thought he would clean half the table for free and charge the whole thing the wash the rest
In the mall this strategy is called “clean one shoe for free” they’ve been doing it since the 90s
this type of strategy is very old

Or just the opposite “don’t try at all or it will only show the imperfections more”
I remember a sales guy did this to my dad. Dude cleaned one spot on my old mans boat to try and sell his cleaning product. My dad was super pissed because the rest of the boat was dirty and it didn’t match. Needless to say, he ran the sales guy off and made me clean the rest of the boat.
😂😭😭😭
@TheBigCheese that’s why you have kids in the first place!
@TheBigCheese you pay for child labor for about 18 years though
Ohhh so that’s why a landscaper guy mowed a line through our yard.
To me this is scummy if used to trap someone into paying you to finish the job.
What you did in the video isn’t scummy though. You cleaned a whole table. If you cleaned half of it, I’d say scummy again.
I hired a guy to clean my gutters and he did this same “technique” on my flagstones, even though I asked him not to.
