I gotta be honest with you. I’m able to get statements pretty easily. It’s the value proposition you convey to the client and identifying their pain points. There’s nothing confidential in a merchant statement and should be pretty easy to get if you’re able to demonstrate the value proposition well and build trust. If a client wants to make a decision based on savings then a statement review is the best way to determine that. It’s an apples to apples comparison and you’re able to help educate them on what pricing platform they’re on. A business owner will never make a decision based on rates alone and what they could potentially save. They want exact dollars and cents, you’re not goinf to be able to do that with just monthly volume.
