What I’m Hearing: USA TODAY Sports’ Dan Wolken describes the buzz surrounding the second-round matchup between Duke and UCF where Zion Williamson will face off with 7’6″ Tacko Fall.

SAN JOSE, Calif. — On Saturday, Liberty players still were savoring their Friday night trip to In-N-Out Burger as the 12th-seeded Flames celebrated their 80-76 victory over fifth-seeded Mississippi State in fitting fashion.

“Double-Double,’’ Liberty forward Myo Baxter-Bell reported as if he could still taste the double-patty burger and the school’s first NCAA tournament victory.

But Liberty coach Ritchie McKay offered no details. That’s because he went straight back to the team hotel, where he watched game tape in anticipation of Liberty’s second-round game against fourth-seeded Virginia Tech on Sunday at the SAP Center.

“When you are my weight and my body fat, you get exempted from opportunities like that,’’ McKay said with a grin. “But I think the players enjoyed it, and yeah, it was good. They need to have a little fun once in a while.’’

So while his players were consuming double-doubles, what did McKay dine on?

“I think I had a bar, a snack bar from – it might have been from the locker room in there,’’ he said. “I just, yeah, try not to eat too late.’’
